DATA PRIVACY NOTICE
ASIAN LEARNING CENTER is the Data Controller for the purposes of the Data Privacy Law of 2012. The school collects information about your child and may receive their Scholastic Records from their previous school. The school shall hold this personal data and use it to support your child's teaching and learning process, monitor and report on your child's progress, provide appropriate pastoral care and assess how well your child's school is performing.
The information includes your child's contact details, National Achievement Test results, attendance information and personal characteristics such as ethnic group, special educational needs and any relevant medical information.
The school will not give any information about your child to anyone outside the school without your consent unless the law and our rules allow us to. However, please note that the school is required by law to pass some of your child's information to the Department of Education (DepED).
